You might not know this, but one really cool feature that KODAK offers is the ability to add custom titles to all of your discs. That means, instead of fumbling around with anonymous DVDs, you’ll have perfectly little labels that will allow you to easily skip past the old videos of your horse riding phase, and instead get right to the good stuff.

By the way, I’m allergic to horses, so I never had one of those awkward horse obsessions. My sister, on the other hand, was probably the horse queen. I wish we had DVDs of her in braces, drawing horses on literally everything. If only. I would have sent those to KODAK years ago.

Conveniently, we make our URLs really easy to understand and follow. Once you have your order number, go to that page and enter your information. Again, all you need is your order number and an email address.

Step 3: Title your Discs!

The best part of the process is brainstorming fun disc titles! You’ll be able to see what’s going on which disc, so that’ll help the name generation. If you’re a straight shooter, you can choose names like “Thanksgiving 1986,” or “Christmas 1993.” If you’re like me, you can do something like, “Silly sister receives yet another neon horse t-shirt, 1994.” It’s your choice, really.

The most important thing to keep in mind about titling your discs is that you’ll need to create the titles after you place your order, but before we digitize everything. That should give you a couple of days’ cushion, but if you’re a procrastinator, you’ll want to get your rear in gear. You’re not in a race against time per se, but it’s also not on your side.
