My parents aren't tech-savvy. Is this too hard for them?

Not at all. They just need to complete the checkout process, and input their payment details and address for shipping. The box they'll receive includes very straightforward instructions of how to pack up their old media and a prepaid UPS shipping label to get it back to us. They'll receive an email when their media is digitized with access to the Kodak Digitizing Cloud. It is designed to be simple, making it an easy gift for parents or grandparents.

I don't know how many tapes they have. What size should I buy?

The 10 or 20-item kit is a safe bet. If they want to digitize more media than the kit covers, we include extra labels for them to add more media to be digitized at a small additional charge per item.
What exactly can they put in the box?

Almost anything! VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Video8, MiniDV, Betamax, 8mm film, Super8 film, 16mm film, photos, slides, and negatives. See the full list of formats here.
Do they have to use it right away?

Because they are tied to a specific promotional pricing for the box sizes, E-Gift Cards should be used within 90 days of purchase. If used after 90 days, E-Gift Cards will be redeemed for the value of the gift card, but the pricing of the box size is not guaranteed to remain the same.
